Some badges can be completed from home, and since our latest update on OSM, you can now view all the information you need on badges at home on the OSM app.
Each term, each section will also focus on a badge that can be earned at home! Below are the current badges we are focusing on, and links on how to earn them:
Beavers
This term we will be looking at our collector’s badge! This badge involves making a collection for six weeks, showing your lodge a selection of the collection, and telling others in your lodge all about the collection. Further information about this badge can be found here. We will issue a date in due course to present your collections!
Cubs
This term we will be looking at our book badge! This badge involves reading 6 books and writing a little about them. We will provide a couple of worksheets that can aid in completing some of the requirements of the badge. Further information on the badge can be found here. We will issue a date in due course to present your efforts!
Scouts
In scouts, we will be looking at our hobbies badge! This one will take a little longer to complete (four months). This badge involves two different choices: Either take up a new hobby or make a collection /study of objects for four months. Further details on how to complete the badge can be found here. We will issue a date in due course for presenting your hobby/collection!
